Standard Process Purification Program

I thought I would write my diary of my journey through my Standard Process Purification Cleanse. I am actually into day #4 today, but have eaten according to the program for six days. I am going to copy and paste from days 1 and 2 and then take it from there.

Preparation Day 1
Today, I started the program. I am not doing it completely, as Dr. Robert wants me to only do the shakes and veggies and fruits for the first two days. I will start the supplements on Sunday. It was a pretty rotten day. I had severe headaches and felt terrible all day. I took a nap, but I felt I was going to faint while almost asleep, which scared me silly. I had three shakes today, two salads and a mix of frozen veggies. The last shake was almost too much, as it made me feel a little bloated. I actually dreaded going to sleep because I was afraid of feeling horrible the next morning. My weight tonight (after my shakes and almost one gallon of water!) was 186.4 pounds.

Preparation Day 2
It’s Day 2! I woke up feeling pretty good! I expected the worst… but thankfully, I am feeling pretty good! I stopped at our local health food store and got some sunflower seeds for my salad and some raw almonds to munch on. I drank my shake and went to prayer and then got a chiropractic adjustment. At around 11:30, I began to get very fatigued. So, I ate some of the almonds and drank a bottled water, as we were still in the car. That helped immensely! I am now eating my salad – greens, carrots, tomatoes, and sunflower seeds with my homemade vinaigrette. Very tasty. I only weighed 182.4 this morning!
